If you want to dance more than just on Fridays …
Text Quimin at 404-429-9164 for more info and directions. Hope to see you there!
Weekly gentle reminder: please check in and pay at the Decatur Rec staff desk before entering the dance hall. Regular admission is $15; people with limited income can pay $7.
Once again, deep gratitude to all the VOLUNTEERS who keep our dance running smoothly! Here’s how you can help:
Come early to help with heavy lifting for Sound setup
Sweep the dance floor before the dance
Set out chairs and fans
Assemble the caller stand
Keep the info desk supplied with name tags and markers
Sweep the dance floor after the dance
Help put away chairs, tables, sound equipment, fans, and caller stand - we must be out of the building by 11 pm!
Enjoy a “bit and a bite” at a local eatery after the dance - to celebrate a job well done!
And as always, thank YOU for your support of Atlanta Contra Dance!
